Michael is right. The Avenger is an opportunity to unleash creativity and technical talent . . .it is a tool, an opportunity, but not an effect. This amp does not play itself.  As Michael said, "It won't give you tone if you don't have it. It won't give you punch  if you are a weak player and it won't give you chops. But what it will do is allow you to take full benefit of all those  things if you put your time in." This is what makes the Avenger such a cutting edge piece of gear. (BTW, mine is No. 20).
